Each lecture episode is preceded by a discussion in which the Quran
fragment being heard is placed in its religious and social context.
The Quran reciter is Pekka Savolainen. The lecture uses the Finnish
translation completed by Professor Jaakko Hämeen-Anttila in 2013.
The background discussion heard in connection with each episode features
the voices of Anas Hajjar, Imam of the Islamic Community of Finland and
Chairman of the Islamic Council of Finland, and Professor Jaakko
Hämeen-Anttila. The discussions are hosted by Juha-Pekka Hotinen.
The Quran series is produced by Erja Manto.
