The Islamic school is considered the spinal cord of Muslim communities abroad, and there is no doubt that the mosque is like the brain; both together are the structure that sustains the body to walk together on guidance. The mission of the Islamic school abroad is inseparable from the mission of the mosque, because religion is not established except through knowledge, and God Almighty is not worshipped through ignorance. This is the function and goal of the Islamic school: to raise and create a righteous generation that knows its religion and its Lord, to worship Him with knowledge and to uphold the principles of Islam and its supreme human values. Establishing schools can begin with simple and humble initiatives in homes, small towns, and in every place where people gather. This can be achieved through the efforts of parents who are keen on the success of their children, and through the determination of those who know the great and endless reward, which is considered an ongoing charity, which is worshipping through knowledge by facilitating its path for learners. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, informed us when he said: (Whoever takes a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him the path to Paradise). This is the state of the learner, so how would be the state of someone who contributed and facilitated the path of knowledge for him, a path that might pass through his home through his family, and supports him with his time, attention and money? That is why an example is used: The oldest and most prestigious university in the world began in a humble home as a class to teach children the Holy Quran, or what is known as the Kuttab, through the efforts of a simple woman. History immortalized her initiative, and the poet spoke the truth when he said: A mother is a school, if you prepare her... you will prepare a people of good lineage. She is Fatima Al-Fihri and her work is Al-Qarawiyyin University, the oldest institution of higher education and the first university to grant a degree in medicine in the world. It has illuminated Europe and the world for more than a thousand years and continues to do so. Brothers and sisters, take the initiative to create an educated generation immune to ignorance and sedition. Today, an atom's weight will be accepted from you, but tomorrow, an earth full of gold will not be accepted from you. The least you can do is spread this initiative and you will have the reward of one who guides to goodness.
